Here are some answers

What is earned but unpaid salary?

Most companies pay their employees in 30-day cycles. This means that through each month, employees accumulate their earnings with their employers which is yet to be paid.

How does access to earned salary work?

Once the employer is onboarded with Ropay, their employees can use the Ropay app to see how much they have earned and tap out their money when they need it, directly to their bank account.

How is the accessed money paid back?

Ropay will share the salary advanced details with the company for a reimbursement at the end of the month. The same can be deducted from the employee’s final salary payment.

Is there any cost or risk to the company?

Ropay charges a basic subscription fee per employee. There is no set up cost and no risk to the company. Company would only make the same salary payments as it would be making.

How long does it take to set up?

The account can be set up within a day’s time. We have dedicated customer relationship managers who will assist with the set up as well as maintenance of each account.
